Therapy Rates and Insurance
🌿 Welcome to Kids N Play OT
At Kids N Play OT, I am passionate about helping children thrive through personalized, high-quality occupational therapy in Portland, Oregon. Every session is tailored to your child’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals, ensuring they receive the support they need to grow, play, and succeed. This page is here to help you understand how payment and insurance work in my practice—at your own pace and without pressure to commit. Many families pause here while deciding whether reaching out feels like the right next step.
💳 Payment & Insurance
Kids N Play OT is a private pay pediatric occupational therapy practice, which means I do not bill insurance directly. However, I am happy to provide a Statement of Services (also called a “superbill”) after each session.
You do not need to have your insurance details figured out before contacting me—I’m happy to walk through how superbills and out-of-network benefits work during our conversation.
You can submit this document to your insurance company to request reimbursement, depending on your plan’s out-of-network benefits.
📋 Checking Your Benefits
The questions below are offered as a support, not a requirement—some families find them helpful, while others prefer to talk first and sort out insurance details later.
To make the process easier, here are a few helpful questions you can ask your insurance representative about your out-of-network coverage:
-
Does my plan include out-of-network benefits for occupational therapy?
-
Do I need a referral or pre-authorization from my pediatrician?
-
What percentage of the session fee will be reimbursed?
-
What is the deductible and how much has been met?
-
Are evaluation and treatment codes (CPT 97165–97167, 97168, 97530) covered under my plan?
We recommend checking these details before beginning services, so you’ll know what to expect regarding reimbursement.
📅 Rates & Scheduling
For information about my current session and evaluation rates, or to schedule your first appointment, please contact me directly. I'm happy to walk you through my process and answer any questions. When you contact me, we’ll talk about whether my approach is a good fit for your child, review current rates, and address any questions about insurance or reimbursement.
✨ My goal is to make every step— from your first call to your child’s progress— as supportive and transparent as possible.

If you’d like, you can download a checklist to guide a conversation with your insurance provider. You do not need to complete this before reaching out—it’s simply a tool to use if and when it feels helpful.
