Occupational Therapy Services

Assessments

At your child’s initial occupational therapy evaluation, I invite both your child and a caregiver to attend together. This helps me get to know your family and understand your child’s unique strengths and needs.

During the evaluation, I’ll talk with you, observe your child in play and activity, and may use standardized assessments to help guide my understanding. Everything I do is centered around your child and family.

The information I gather helps me create personalized recommendations and set positive, strengths-based goals—so your child can thrive both in sessions and beyond.

Treatment

The pediatric occupational therapy sessions take place weekly, beginning after your child’s initial evaluation. Each session is individually tailored to your child’s needs and centered around the goals we set together.

Caregivers are warmly encouraged to be active participants—your involvement is a vital part of your child’s progress! By working together as a team, we build strong connections and help your child carry therapy strategies into daily life at home, school, and in the community.

My goal is to create sessions that are engaging, collaborative, and grounded in nervous system regulation — meeting your child where they are while supporting growth and confidence over time.

Consultations

I'm here to support your child’s growth in every setting where they learn and play. Occupational therapy consultations are designed to be flexible and collaborative, ensuring your family gets the support you need—where you need it most.

Ways we can work together include:

  • In-school observation: I can visit your child’s school to observe them in their learning environment and identify strategies to help them thrive.

  • School collaboration meetings: I am happy to join teachers and staff to ensure everyone is aligned and working toward shared goals.

  • 504 plans and IEPs: If your child needs additional support at school, I can provide evaluations and recommendations to assist with 504 plans or Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

  • Home support: I offer personalized home programs and practical tools to help your child carry therapy success into their daily routines.

  • Teamwork with other care providers: I value a team approach and love collaborating with other professionals involved in your child’s care.

Together, we’ll ensure your child receives consistent, effective support—across home, school, and the community.
